For many years, boys and girls from Paris and other surrounding communities have spent their summers at Garrard Park playing baseball or softball. Garrard Park sits alongside beautiful Stoner Creek, right below the spot where Houston Creek meets Stoner Creek. For this reason, the park has flooded many times throughout the years causing major damage to the park. However, the park and the community has persevered and hundreds of boys and girls continue to spend their summer nights enjoying the great game of baseball.
